So you mean to tell me he sits his @$$ on the couch all year long watching us suffer. I heard he helps scout the following weeks opponent.
i think they are at home games
that's what i heard too. that he breaks down the game film and goes over it with henne. and also breaks down the up-coming opponents game film too. it sound's like he is helping out chad henne A LOT. i would love to have pennington as a QB coach or assistant in some capacity. he is a hard worker.

I heard a rumor last week about Pennington possibly be headed to the Raiders.

I assure you that Chad P. is not sitting on his a** on the couch. He is at the facility every day rehabbing his shoulder and breaking down film for Henne. I read that he puts together game film for Henne to on the upcoming opponent, and texts Henne and Sparano before and after the game with his thoughts.
WOW, i never actually thought about that. let alone where chad would/could go to after he leaves us. but that is assuming that he doesn't want to stay with us as a back-up. i like pennington. and would love for him to stay here. i also don't think we can get anything for him. his contract will be up. so that sucks.
it seems as if everybody that is on IR was at that game... maybe Sporano lifted the no travel ban for that game as a morale booster

It was probably because Chad played for that team and could help out. Chad's rehabbing. He's there when he's allowed to be, when he isn't allowed to be, he texts on game day, and every week he's putting together a package for Henne and helping scout out the other team. He's always one week ahead of the team.
As for the rumor stuff, there is no rumor about Chad going anywhere next season. There was someone wondering where he would be next season on a blog, but no one has any idea where Chad will end up because teams can't talk with players under contracts until they run out. Also Chad wasn't even positive he would come back. Last I heard, he was rehabbing and he said his goal is to be throwing a football by January first. He would make a decision around March. My opinion is that he will play again and go to a team that has potential to be good, where he can compete for a starting job and win it. The alternative, if no starting jobs, or competitions open up that suit where he would like to be open, then I think, if given the opportunity, he will stay either in Miami or go back to NYJ to back up and finish his career. I would think he would want to stay more east coast or south then move west.
