XFL is coming back

The xfl will last if it doesn’t spend crazy money they have to function like a minor league with low salaries for all involved otherwise they can’t last

From what I see they don’t make much more then 30k

bet thats 30k more than some of these guys were making before the XFL.

And some players such as QBs are making a lot more than 30, apparently up to 500,000

But yes they do need to look at attracting a Tebow or Manziel next year, if only for the brand exposure.

So first of all, nuts to Tebow.

Secondly, XFL players are making $55K for this season. And people complained that they were making that much.

Roughnecks QB PJ Walker is league MVP right now. He is fun to watch.

These guys are trash have you watched them lol they only deserve 30k if that

Landry Jones doesn’t deserve to make 500k lol he’s bad

XFL is quite entertaining. They definitely should keep pushing that aspect. We know the quality won't be near NFL quality so its other aspects that aren't pure gimmicky that will see it as an option away from the NFL.

People need to stop the narrative of this being some sort of farm system for the NFL tho. It will never compete with college football on that level and will be seen in the same light as the CFL and other leagues if that is their objective. Sure some players will use it as a way to jump back in the NFL but that shouldn't be the league's goal.

But yea absolutely they need to do like the MLS and gather a few big names, even if out of their prime, to help with the overall headlines, especially at QB. Manziel, Tebow, Terrelle Pryor, Denard Robinson, etc. The star of your entertainment league can't be Landry Jones.

Well said.

Too bad a certain someone is more concerned about making money over actually play football.

The XFL should resist overpaying for any specific players and try to create their own stars. I still feel they are doomed regardless just because the interest seems to wane very quickly in watching less than practice squad level players for 20 dollars and more a ticket. Quarterback seems to suffer the most in these leagues.

Seems like the LA and NY teams always have horrible nicknames.
You would think these leagues would do better than Madden franchise generic nicknames.

I think the league starts too quickly after the NFL season. They should wait a month or two until people are jonesing for watching some more football.

I think they started it right away to try to gain some established fans before March Madness starts. If they waited until March everyone will be watching NCAA Basketball instead.
