Yahoo article ranking top RB tandems (Ronnie/Ricky 12th)

I don't usually get hung up on opinions but I just don't see how Ronnie/Ricky are ranked 12th, according to this guys article. I know its all for fun and to get people talking but I would say the following should not be ahead of them:


1. Lynch/Jackson
2. Barber/Jones (Felix Jones isn't proven enough yet and got injured and missed much of last season)
3. Portis/Betts
4. Westbrook/McCoy (Nothing against Westbrook because he's pretty damn good, but McCoy is a rookie and hasn't played a down in the NFL yet)

I know someone will say not to get all bent out of shape over it, but I thought it was worth mentioning. In my opinion Ronnie/Ricky combo are easily top 10...I'd say 6th or 7th best roughly?. What do you guys think?

I just read that article earlier and was a little surprised the guy had the Jets combo at 6. But then I realized I didn't really care b/c again, like everything the entire offseason and preseason has been off the field, are just guys making their livings by mouthing off about "rankings" such as these.

Put Brown and Williams #1 and I'd still feel the same way.
 
If we had better o-line blocking, Ronnie & Ricky would be ranked #1.
 
Well the Top 5 are all interchangeable, but are definitely deserving of being considered Top 5. As for the three ahead of Miami, that's questionable. Ricky and Ronnie should be Top 10 if not higher simply based on their talent and depth. Williams is probably a better backup RB than most of the NFL's second string RBs.

How about this ranking: Top RB trios or quads in the league. It can be argued that Miami sits up top on that one with Ronnie, Ricky, Patrick and Lex. Beat that :woot:
 
I'm sorry they did not rank them lower. Think R&R did not read this as well?
