This was all eerily foreshadowed over the summer when Chris Ballard, the Kansas City Chiefs' director of player personnel, addressed a group of players at this year's rookie symposium, saying, "Nobody cares about your problems. They might have empathy for them. But at the end of the day, nobody cares about your problems. When you bring it to work, nobody cares."
Yep.
In the Military....In Football.....In any job that is in the warriors path, that's the way it is.
There's lots of good stuff that goes along with the warrior's path. Lots of great things up
and down the road, but the end is mostly rocky.
Here's the thing; You know that going in. When I was a young man I saw Earl Campbell go
from the baddest player on the planet to a man that couldn't hardly walk, even with crutches.
I still chose football. From that same young age, I saw the shock and horror that was Vietnam
and was a young man during lots of the fallout from the war. I still chose the Army.
When you choose a path in life, there's no going back and crying like a ****ing BITCH, becuase
it diminishes both yourself, and everyone that's taken that path. You don't get to have all
the adulation, and then cry about getting what you WISHED for later. Those types of men
absolutely sicken me.

We sure are....I feel like lost a game everyday since the bengals win.
That's because you are listening to a bunch of people with agendas and axes to grind.
