Yahoo says Ireland was a Draft winner

I was thinking the same thing that Shifty said.. Maybe the apprentice had the final say finally, and didn't have Bill breathing down his neck.. Hopefully these are steps to make our team exciting enough that we don't have the embarrassment that came with last offseason of being snubbed by coaches and free agents alike. I hear we going to be running a extremely fun 90 snaps a game offense, peddle to the medal all game long, and THAT has me excited too. Having Ireland, Carl Peterson, and Ross has really taken a toll on our organization, but when we start winning, that'll cure a whole lot of ills... I was SUPER geeked when we drafted Lamar Miller.. I wished we would've went for a higher quality WR earlier, BUT... We'll see how B.J. Cunningham, and Rishard Matthews pans out... Those "super" WR's like Moss, Chris Carter, Megatron, Fitzgerald, & even Andre Johnson have 0 SuperBowl Championships. You win with the workman like WRs.
 
It was a very solid draft, appears that perhaps they did have a plan. Withholding judgement, but I am pleased
