I sit here and watch each and every sport. From the start of the season to the end when a new champion is crowned. I see the players celebrating, I see the fans at an all time high. It brings goosebumps to my arms, it puts a smile on my face. Now don't get me wrong I've seen my favorite college team (Ohio State) win the National Championship and I've witnessed the Colorado Avalanche win the stanley cup. But neither of those teams can even compare to how much of a Miami Dolphins fan I am. Let me get to the point. We haven't had the best of seasons lately, but with the new front office and the direction this team is headed I know it will come. And for all of us die hard fans out there we have to hang tough. Support our team through 1-15 seasons and just know that some day we will be back on the top of the NFL. And when that day comes I can't even imagine the feeling. I can't even imagine how it will feel. But I can't wait, I can't wait for that day to come.

Well said man. Let's just hope this happens in the next 100 years
 
After watching the Celts take home the trophy I too long for one of "my" teams to win it all again. It has been far too long.

PS I hate Boston teams and even though I knew they were the better team it was like a kick in the gut when the clock hit 0:00

Keep the faith, it will happen. We have seen the darkest days and there is no where to go but up. And when it happens this site will explde and we will all get drunk and eat
 
Seriously, when the fins get to the big game, and hopefully win it, we need to have a finheaven party... true fans, that were here during the S*** times.
 
Yeah, but at least most of you are old enough to remember some Dolphin success. I can barely recall the final stages of Marino's career. So when I really started to understand football, our dolphins were one of the jokes of the league. And very limited success has come between then and now, a time where we are the absolute worst. And when you say "we have nowhere to go but up", realize that we still have a long way to go, and we could be coasting at this mediocre level for some time. I've been hearing the promise of rebuilding for as long as I can remember, but it has yet to take effect due to injuries or trades or management, etc.

I'm not trying to be a downer, but I have never had the chance to proudly say my team is one of the best and can only relish the success of times I haven't seen. Honestly, a dolphin fan is one of the hardest fans to be at this point.

I agree. The only thing is that it will probably be a lot longer of a wait for us. Basketball is the one team sport where one player can make the difference between a winning and losing team.
 
I keep the faith every year and have since I was 6. Every year in the NFL a team goes from worst in their division to first. I again say this year it will be us. And if we don't we can can fall back on the facts that we didn't over pay anyone this offseason after having more cap than any team at one point this offseason and JT won't cost us 7+ mill next year. We are building smart and their is no reason for anyone to doubt we are on the comeback at this point.

I can certainly understand the feeling, my teams being the Dolphins, Magic, Rays, and Lightning (unfortunately, I got into hockey too late to enjoy the Championship season) So I for the most part have felt the cold hand of mediocrity. At least things are starting to come together for two of my teams.
 
three things about this would make me esstatic and that is.
we win in good fashion so the dolphin hating media doest try to piss on our parade .
we sweep the jets, pats , and tow really good teams and our qbs, blossom into really good qbs.

most importantly is to not have any serrious injuries especially at week link positions.

man i am so sick of golf and basketball does basketball season ever come to a end ?
 
At least our only drama this offseason is JT. At least our franchise back isn't being investigated for a hit and run on some girl and we never had to cheat and deal with not being able to do it anymore. The Jets will always be the Jets that overpay FA's and draft bad. The got rid of their best defender and will soon be in cap hell. IMO our futures are looking better than our division opponents already.
