He looked damn good out there. It seemed like he was in on almost every play.

good call for nick to give him the start, better play on the ball and a MUCH better playmaker then tilman, tilman i hope you enjoyed your playing time in there, you shouldnt have been starting in the first place

I (like alot of fans) have been screaming for him to start for a long time now. He and Jason Allen are my starters for the safety postions if you ask me...

+ 100! I hope this guy is the answer and he keeps it up. It sure looks like he wants it bad. A lot of heart this guy is showing.

ive always wanted him to get a shot.he dominated when the ball was in his area.outstanding young player keep on starting him.allen should get alot more playing time also.two good young safetys

i have been on the yerimiah bell fan club since he first played at 100% during a game, just like welker, taylor, traylor, thomas, carter and crowder do every week

Yeah, he's one of my favorites, but he's not too young. He's like 28 or 29.

I liked this guy alot. It had a lot to do w/ my trip to san diego last yr where i had seats on the 50 yrd line(our side of the field) 7 rows up and he made that play to sack brees and win the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! flew all the way from chicago we were a 14 point dog and we whipped those boys good that day....I'm a believer in Bell!!!!!

I think the reason Nick hasn't started Yeramiah earlier is because he is less-than-stellar in pass coverage. Whether it is because he does not understand the coverages or is a little less swift of foot than other safties, I do not know. But he has given up a few deep passes when starting. He gave up one yesterday. Regardless, the guy is one helluva playmaker!

when we drafted him, Kiper said he could be the steal of the draft. Think about it. Before he tore his ACL his senior year, Kiper had him ranked as the best senior safety that year (and he played for Western Kentucky).

Of his 4 years with us, he's played 3 of them. He's been making plays on ST for all 3 years, and the last two years he's been making plays on defense (remember his sack and FF to save the Chargers game last year?)

the only bad play I saw was the missed tackle on a receiver that went for an extra 10 yards.

He does have a nose for the ball, that is for sure.
