Called time out so the other had time to line up and scored.
Mistake on calling 2 pt conversion.
Last game, did not go for 4 and 4.
Today, starting Ginn, threw him the ball??!!
Now, did not take a shot at the EZ with 10 secs left......

OK flame me....
He is good for at least one bone-head call a game.

What if Henne got sacked? What if the receiver runs a short route and doesn't cross the goal line? The score would be 16-6 right now. With 10 seconds on the clock and no time outs, it is a VERY hard decision. Taking a risk and taking a shot to the endzone or just kicking the field goal are both good decisions. I would have liked to have seen them take a shot, but I can't blame them for kicking the field goal. After an impressive drive like that in the final minute, why not take the guaranteed points and not risk a potential disaster where you get no points?

Oh hush. If we went for the TD and Henne got sacked, you'd be calling for Sparano's head for not getting the sure points.

And had Henne taken a sack, or a receiver caught the ball inbounds and not gotten out of bounds, you would be on here killing Tony for not kicking the field goal. It is apparent that Tampa is not going to be able to comeback, keep increasing the lead, which makes them throw more, which means we can unleash more Wake and Anderson. It is not Tony's fault that Sperry caught the ball and stayed in bounds, costing us valuable time.

I would bet my life most other nfl coaches would take a shot with 10 secs left.

Wrong...I would say he made the right call but players fail to execute. I think we are mature enough to do that.

The only way Sparano doesn't get some criticism in that situation is if he goes for it and we get a TD. I think Henne is a smart enough QB that I would've taken a shot in the end zone, but I'm not going to jump on him for taking the safe route. This is pretty much a must win game.

It just amazes me that every week we come out doing the same things in the second half that we do in the first half. The the coaching staff stands there with this look of surprise when they shut down our offense and start moving the ball on our defense!

Anyone talking about Henne taking a sack or a receiver catching the ball inbounds is playing not to lose instead of to win. That's playing scared.

The bigger mistake was calling a timeout with 1:40 seconds left in the half when we had the ball inside the 10 yard line. We ended up scoring a TD and didn't let them get any points afterwards but still why purposely give the opposing team more time when they get the ball back?
