Well with everyone chirping for either MJD or Moreno I figured I would start a thread where everyone can voice what exactly they are looking for as a solution at RB.

Unbiased, as it should be, this thread is not about one, the other or rookies, simply what you would like to do.

Personally I'm all for Moreno to share the load with Miller when it comes to 1st & 2nd down.

Who knows when it's all said and done one has to be better than the other and just keep the winner.

I can see Miller ending up a third stringer when it's all said and done. Moreno would also have a head start cause he's leaps and bounds a better option in 3rd down.

Draft Jeremy Hill on the 3rd round. We need a power back to complement those two.

Just cut Thomas and Thigpen. See if Gillislee will stick in the PS.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly

Path to the Draft is talking about how so many teams love FSU RB Devonta Freeman. I've been told Dolphins are on that shortlist.

He is tiny, but if Hickey had anything to do with Tampa's RB selections then I trust him.

Moreno was a product of the broncos passing game. I don't think you see the production from him in this offense, actually I don't think it's even close. Personally I would have loved to see James Starks, but Green Bay resigned him. With what's out there right now, I would like to see us give Jones-Drew a 2 year deal at what some of these other backs have been getting and see if he can have a healthy year and get back to his old form. Hes never had much talent around him in Jacksonville and had some very productive years... With how low the market is right now for running backs, you can get a guy like him for a good price.

:DD28 broken record:

JEREMY HILL

One of these days y'all are going to realize rushing for 1500 yards in the SEC West means something.
Not coming from a pistol formation in the big 10 when you don't even get your jersey grabbed till the 2nd level.
And the ACC has small backs. We already have a mid size guy with speed.

Minus the off the field issues Crowell is the back to have in this draft. Even with those issues I could see someone in the 2nd-3rd pulling the trigger on Crowell

I don't think we can intelligently observe our rb situation. Miller has to have a hole to run through. I think the efforts should be on fixing our oline. When the blocking up front gets better then we will know what we have in miller and Tanny as well. If we can get a decent vet back on the cheap then fine, but if it involves trading pick the no. We need the picks to help build depth on the oline. We still need another 4 to 5 linemen. Untill that line is fixed it won't matter if we have mercury morris back there he won't go anywhere.

Maybe show D. Thomas the door, address the Oline with our 1st and 2nd. Then we go after Andre Williams or Sankey in the 3rd 0r 4th.. Or give Blount a shot on a One year deal for cheap..
