Pessimism is something I see a lot on these boards. They claim that they aren't pessimists, but rather insist that they are a realist. Here's a clue. A realist doesn't say "The Colts are going to crush us" or "We have no chance". Don't tell them they aren't a fan though, they're just being realistic.... right?
Wrong. A realist recognizes the large feat at hand, but in no way loses all confidence in their team. A realist says "It's going to be a difficult game and the Colts are great. It won't be an easy game." Because a REALIST would realize that anything can happen any given Sunday... and a TRUE FAN would NEVER-EVER-EEEVVERRR laugh at their own team as if they didn't have a chance.
So to the pessimists, go to the Colts board. They appreciate your presence much more so than most of us around here. I know we've got problems, you don't need to tell me that we might be outmatched, but my god... have a little faith. Why do you even cheer for the Fins if you're not even going to believe in them?
Okay.... ::bong2::
I feel better after that rant.
