Bret Favre was born with it. RT was not. Not saying that he can't be a competent QB in this league but a QB with killer instincts he is not......There are many other examples of QB's who have "it" and make it apparent every Sunday and though I love RT to death the kid needs to be surrounded by the 2000 Baltimore Ravens to win in this league.:hump:

But are you born with the Thrill of the Fight, or can that be taught?

Clearly we should start scouting at birth then. Not unlike when finding a new Dalai Lama or Chosen One, they must be found early and developed for their entire lives. If we start now we're only 23 years from finally being led to salvation.

If you're not interested in another thread about the "Leader of the Miami Dolphins" then keep it moving.:kick:

The last time I felt like we had a qb who could win tough close games by carrying the team on his back, was Penningnton. And that dude showed up on day 1 and you knew who the leader of the team was. That team fought their butts off for him.

You've never felt that with tannehill.

The players do not respect, like, or believe in tannehill. He has no personality and no balls and the players know it.

Another reach by you! Pennington in no way shape or form could take over a game and win it for us. There is absolutely no proof of that as a Jet or Dolphin. He went along for the ride of a dominant run game fueled by the flavor of the week trick play and a pathetically easy schedule.

As far as Tannehills team mates not respecting him, where do you get evidence of that outside of big mouth Miko? Swing and a miss my friend. I'm not trying to defend Tannehill, I'm done with that. Just pointing out some huge flaws in another post filled with conjecture and exaggeration.

I was born with blue eyes! What does your eyes have to do with it? I'm confused. Ryan doesn't have cat eyes? That's probably a good thing, aren't cats colorblind? By the way, it's a silly song about a silly boxer who can run faster after running on a beach.:hump:

What are you talking about the team loved Pennington. Dude showed up and had the playbook down immediately, and was walking around in practice making people laugh and enjoying the game as soon as he showed up. He closed out a lot of games for us that year. That team wasn't very talented at all, but they played extremely hard for him. They believed in him so they gabe him everything they had.

As for tannehill, miko was just repeating what she heard his teammates say. The team didn't vote tannehill a captain last year, they gave it to pouncey, that shouod have raised eyebrows right away.

Landry called him a robot. Jennings said he had no leadership skills and that the coaching staff babied him. Philbin threatened to bench him for Moore and wanted to replace him with Carr.

Tannehill is a coward with no personality, and it shows on the field. As I said, teammates don't respect him, why would they?

You make him sound like Ryan Leaf:rolleyes2:

I don't agree w the coward part. He stands in and takes a beating, gets back up and goes back to work. That has to count for something w his teammates.

A coward??? The man was pissing blood and still played. He's anything but a coward. He's a good kid and a hard worker and is easy to root for. That's why most of his fans stood by him for so long. Now that more and more fans are moving towards "your side" is it really necessary to post this crap? He isn't the guy, fine. No need to rain a bunch of far fetched bull**** on him.
