I choose to laugh. As embarrasing and infuriating as last night was, and as I came to the horrible realization that I'll probably have to deal with another NY Jets playoff run with the terrible antics of their dick head fans, I came to another realization....
None of this is my fault. I dont have anything to be ashamed of. I didn't put this o line together, I didn't ship Brandon Marshall out the door for nothing, I didn't call these God awful plays, and I certainly didn't call anyone a half a ******.
I'm a hopelessly devoted Dolphins fan, and I probably always will be. With that being said, this Deadspin article is hilarious and kind of puts things into perspective. This Dolphins team is and has been a comedy of errors. The absurd and horrendous ways that this team finds a way to fail year in and year out are too ridiculous to make up.
So unlike in previous years where going 3-0 turns into a 1-5 stretch (including a loss to an 0-8 team) would have emotionally drained me, I won't let it happen this year. I'm going to put things into perspective, try to worry about my own personal success in life instead of living vicariously through athletes that suck anyway, laugh off this season and hope that maybe someday this ******* organization can put a winning product on the field.
Its time to fire Jeff Ireland, and even though this whole fiasco w/ Incog and Martin may not be their fault, it will probably be the deciding factor in the staff losing its collective job as well. The play on the field won't be good enough to justify their employment.
In closing, I'll be rooting for a W vs San Diego, but if they can't pull it out and they're 4-6 I'm going back to 2011 Suck for Luck mode in hoping they clean house and land a top draft pick. Here's to hoping against hope they pull off a W Sunday, but in all likelihood I'll be seeing ya in the off season.
