Tough game, turnovers killed us...3 fumbles lost and 1 int? right?

thats just bad luck, and all in our territory. Our defense did a pretty decent job, kinda hard to stop the team from scoring when they are in your territory every position.

Its apparent that Pennington just isnt that great, we won with him last year, but come on...the dude cant throw, not a single pass over 10 yards?

Id love to trade him for some Oline help or a WR. or maybe a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

Im not worried, we will win gmes with Chad, but we would be a much better offensive team if Henne started IMO, I so badly want to unleash Ginn, but we cant.

bad game, we will improve though.

its not about the QB. you cant judge the QB very well until the o-line is better. Chad didnt play great but there is no way Henne makes this game any better at all.

its the olines fault that Pennington cant throw the ball? its very easy to stack the line and blitz a QB who isnt going to burn you deep.

without those 3 fumbles, we still lose, so w.e.

Long had a bad gme, but our Oline last season was a strong point, give it anothe rweek or 2

You may not be worried........ But I am.. We lost our first 2 games last year but we cannot afford that again with this year's schedule..

Next week's game against the Colts is a MUST win.

We have to win that game no matter what.... And then having to go on the road against SD on a short week.

We have to avoid 0-3 no matter what..... I don't care if we have to pull the new wildcat plays out of the bag early against non-division teams---- just do it !

Just win !

Win or go home !

Im not worried because I expect the Phins to go 8-8 or 9-7 this year. Fans who said 11 or 12 wins might want to get worried.

Not worried. And Yes the 3 fumbles are why we lost. We couldn't overcome those. A couple bad offensive series can be overcome but not those. We wont do it again.

well, any sane fan shouldnt be content with 8-8 or 9-7 and say "well, we got better as a team tho its ok if we miss the playoffs because were still growing as a team."

that is the most BS excuse i hear from half the posters on here. we were stupid to not upgrade a AFC EAST CHAMPION team in the offseason. instead, we patched our holes and look where its gotten us? no wr threat, an overpriced pathetic oline, more question marks at qb and NO talent on special teams (which we will once again be around the worst in the league).

i just cant take the fact that we could have done so much more to improve this team and we tucked our tails between our legs. sure the wildcat is a great play to throw into a game, but wasting a 2nd, yes a SECOND ROUND PICK!, on a gimmick is heartbreaking espcially when the kid cant even hit a wide open reciever!! plus he looks like he will be broken in half within a few weeks because of how small he is. but since he only plays a few plays a game it shouldnt matter much. i mean, we could have used that pic somewhere else but oh well just another waste.

i just feel like we could have filled holes in so many areas and we elected not too.

and as far as the oline goes. i dont even know what to say after a performance like that. just think to yourself how much worse it will get when one or 2 of them gets hurt knowing that we have joe berger and a few other nobodys to save the day! :boohoo:

im not giving up on this season, but todays game showed all of our weaknesses and those weaknesses were not adressed AT ALL in the offseason. you can say defense wins championships all you want but without the tools on offense you will be lucky if the pats, jets,or bills will let you in when they hear the knock from the cellar door.

It's not really bad luck, but I get your point. There were a lot of things that went wrong today. And while Pennington made his share of mistakes, others did too, most notably the line and Fasano. We aren't gonna be able to make mistakes and win against the schedule we have this year, and this game proves that. But at the same time, we went into a very hostile environment for the first game of the season. It was an extremely tough place to start the season and some of the mistakes that we made were probably as much due to the circumstances. And at the same time, we ran the ball very well. If the game pace hadn't of been different, it would have been a fine day for Ricky and Ronnie.

I remember a in route to Ginn that was over 10 yards.
Pennington looked like he did vs the Ravens and if he makes the Falcons D look like the Ravens we are in trouble.
Long got owned he will turn it around im not sure if i will say the same about Penny..
However the rush D more than showed up.

worried... no, just shocked and irked on how poorly we played in basically every aspect.

unphysical, turnovers, missing tackles, etc...

Very few teams that commit 4 turnovers in a game can overcome them. In fact, I would bet that statistically any team that is -4 in turnover ratio will lose over 90% of the time.

We played against Atlanta, not the lions! Come on people this **** is crazy, we are a very good team that got beat by a very good team on week one at their home opener. I for one believe we would of done the same to them if we played at home rather than there. Just a thought.

When Bill Parcells is upstairs, I dont worry. Thats just me.

Trade Chad? hahahaha omg fins fans always amaze me.
