J.P. Losman gets benched (he took a safety in the Bucs game, I remember)

How about because he is inconsistant and is best remembered for that wonderful throw to his #1 WR Wayne Gandy?

That's a stupid reason for not wanting a QB. Marino was sacked for a safety in 1992. Does that mean you didn't want him?
 
in this offense i would love to see what aaron brooks could do
 
Aaron brooks has some talent, we all can agree on that, but I do not want him. My roommate is a diehard Saints fan so we watch a lot of saints games on the ticket, and he makes some of the worst decisions as a QB I have ever seen. Not a smart player and if you watch closely he always smiles after an INT. just a peeve of mine. Saints may drop him, but we need to let him pass by.
 
I thought the real reason you wouldnt want Aaron Brooks is cause he blows? That'd be the real reason I dont dont want him. People complain about Gus but this guy throws more picks and more dumb decisions then gus ever has.

he is horrible.

my god people, have you seen him play. he is so inconsistent.
 
Brooks is the Saints version of Fiedler....makes horribles throws and bad decisions.......he will get his 300+ yards but seems to throw 2-3 INTs.

Fiedler only had 1-2 300 yard games. The thing with Brooks is the Ints come in droves. he just self destructs a lot of games. When he breaks down its usually 3-4 possessions at a time and it puts a ton of pressure on a defense.
 
my only saving grace for brooks is this, he's been a starting QB for JIM HASLETT...i seriously think that coaching is the biggest problem for New Orleans. and therefore its probably directly afffected Brooks.

I don't want brooks. but i'll take him over most.
