The worst draft in dolphin history? are you kiddin me

Cam doesnt know what he's doing ?
quinn is god how did we pass on him? with the stat related to qb theres a better
chance that both jermarcus and quinn are going to be bust?

how do you guys know that the dolphins werent trying to trade down to get more picks? you think you people are the only ones to think of that?

ginns not good? becks not good? bookers not good? geez what a bunch of babies the majority of you guys are!!! almost everyones here a better scout ? gm? Cam? than those that are paid for a living to do this? because we look at highlight and read articles on these players? GIve me a breakkk!!!!!
 
After banging my head on the wall because we didn't grab him, I realized that we were not the only team to pass up on Quinn. There were more than a few teams that could have taken the Chosen-One, but didn't.

I'm very pleased with the draft so far. At least there is no EDDIE FREAKIN' MOORE pics this year.

Reasons why they didn't draft him is because after us, everyone had a franchise quarterback! DUH!
 
Actually, i´m pretty confident in what cam and randy are doing. they scouted brady like no other and finally past on him. i guess they had a reason for it. cam wants to improve the offense this season with means he needs an impact player. ginn ist exactly that. he can kickstart hte return game and run deep on every pass play with leads the opponents to cover him with a cb and the safety over the top. this opens up the runing game and the passing game to the tight end! i´m sure this draft will work for cam!!!! go fins!!

Leftwhich and Gerrard are franchise QB's? What about Buffalo? The Rams?

Are you saying that all of these QB's are franchise material? None of them could have drafted Quinn?
 
Well you opened my eyes.
But real draftgurus, like you, are people who evaluates quality based on performance and potential as result of physical skills.
The main reason for picking Quinn was public image and consistency, while
the main reason for not picking him was he failed in the big games. I've been reading and hearing any kind of justification to the case, but I'm not evaluating just losing or winning, but the way Brady Quinn failed while playing big defenses.
Ginn's biggest attributes are speed and courage to always go more, he's a playmaker, but durability and height are the key doubts.
A Beck versus Quinn comparison should be avoided given it was the Ginn versus Quinn that leave him out of here. But even with that in mind, Cameron's draftboard surely have them very close. Age at QB is not as impacting if we handle the kind of offense that Cam wants.

We could've had Quinn and basically any other receiver in the 2nd round. I would be ok with that. We could've had Okoye or Willis, that would've been ok. Instead, we drafted a punt returner!! This is our worst first round pick since John Avery. I don't mind not drafting Quinn as much as I do drafting Ginn.

Buffalo is high on Losman, Rams have a pro bowl QB, and Jacksonville has Leftwich. I think they are all safe with their QB's.

All those QB situation are not as big of question mark as Miami's.

meh... he's just hatin' and has nothing positive to say, they are all looking for ways to slam the pick because they aren't smart enough to get paid to make them.
 
question of the 21 teams before clevland ? who passes up on a future QB star considering how this league is with one injury to your startinq qb

Draft this star qb quinn ? alsort of trade possiblities... stop thinking small if he was so good the friggin colts would have drafted him and got some sort of schuab deal for him???? stop being so emotional people be logical nobody passed on a elway, marion, manning ? because the have gerrad, bulger, etc...
it means there are 21 idot teams out there that apparently the majority of this board is smart than!!!!
 
Alright I personally thought it was very poor of our fans to boo Cam when he disclosed who they had drafted no.1, I admit I was confused trying to figure where they were going with the draft. Then they draft John Beck just as good of stats with more yards and more machure. Draft I like alot not sure about Lorenzo Booker (could have taken better). The reason that was given for passing on Quinn was cheeper with just as good of talent or some may say better.
 
The first time Ginn runs a KR or punt back everyone will be on the bandwagon.

Too many people listen to Kiper.
 
Why are you folks so pissy about others who are simply expressing their opinions? Dissent is good. It provides fodder for discussion. When Saban was hired this board was so freakin boring because everyone drank the koolaid and blindly praised that moron regardles of what he did. Fin fans here were burned once for their blind loyalty and it won't happen again (at least not for a while). Let them/us be critics and don't be such jerks about. Discuss, cuss but be cool about. Ultimately we all want the same result - A return to Super Bowl glory. We just have different ideas on how to get there!

By the way, I believe that passing on Quinn & drafting Ginn was a huge error but only time will tell who is wrong & who is right. The rest of the draft is OK so far.
