Plaxico Burress got benched for the first couple of series of the Giants game vs SD last week.

Why, he showed up LATE for 2 meetings last week.

One problem, he didn't show up late. He was there 1 minute early. But Tom Coughlin is a stark raving lunatic and feels if you aren't 5 minutes early then your late. (no joke this is serious)

So, if a team meeting is at lets say 9:00am, if you aren't there by 8:55, your late. My question to Coughlin is, WHY NOT JUST HAVE THE MEETING BE AT 8:55 IF YOU WANT TO START EVERY MEETING 5 MIN EARLY!!!!!!

It's not like people don't know how Coughlin is by now. Everyone knows you have to show up early for his meetings, it was all over the media last year. If you know your coach wants you there early, show up early. It's not that hard.

The meeting (the actual talking, film review, whatever) starts at 9:00am....you are required to be there at 8:55....it's really not that hard to understand. I don't understand why ANYONE, including his players players have a problem with it.
