When(if) we beat the Jets, things will get worse for both teams. Brett will automatically be called a choke artist, shoulda stayed retired, etc. The Dolphins will be considered "lucky" and that they "only" beat the Jets.

The media and people clouded with Pats and Cowboys, etc will never give up until we upset the Pats in week 3. And you know what will happen then?

"Oh well Brady's foot has been hurting you guy's just got lucky"

Ah that is my predicition.
 
Do you really care what the media says? If we will the Super Bowl and they call us lucky... who the hell cares. If we beat New England and they say Brady foot is still bothering him... who cares, we still beat New England. Let the talking heads say what they want (especially that jerk Deion), as long as the TRUE fans know the difference... who cares. When they actually say something negative about our team and I agree with it.. then I'll care.
 
It boggles my mind how people care about what the media thinks more than their own team.. I mean, come on, who gives a crap what the media says.

People in this day in age should fully understand by now that most forms of media is total garbage.
 
yeah it sucks....but let them underestimate us just let us do our thing and by the end of the season people will be like WOW who are these guys? And we Dolphin fans will have known all along and we can take solace in that fact.

Yeah. I'm going to have to disagree....

We make it to 3-0 people will start talking about us as a real contender.

I am by no means giving the media credit..... but they're quick to jump onto bandwagons.

You gotta realized, if we made it to 3-0, it would mean that Penny (or Henne) are playing satisfatorily, at least 1/2 of the R&R Express is tearing it up, and the defense newcomers have decent stats... there's a lot to talk about and get behind if (when) we make it to 3-0.
 
No one said that the Giants beat the Super Bowl just because Brady was injured.

Parcells and Sparano won't let the team be influenced by hype or lack thereof.
