So on Saturday night, me and 4 buddies had our monthly 'dude's night in'. We've reached an age where 'going out' is no longer of interest to us, so instead we meet up at one person's house, listen to some music, play some video games, drink and eat. We all bring a meat dish and gorge ourselves profusely.

Anyway, this month we met at my friend's place, who is a DIE-HARD Pats fan. Needless to say, the conversation revolved around Sunday's game.

As we were getting ready to leave, I noticed something on his Xmas tree: A Tom Brady McFarlane figurine. So what would any good Dolphins fan do in this situation? I stole it. He noticed almost immediately and demanded I return it. I told him Tom was being held hostage until after the game.

He has since been returned home, but in my mind, and my friends', this is the reason we won! :D

Good for you, now do what any self respected, Dolphin fan would do...throw it it the fireplace after you stop it with your boot and never look back. Keep your friendship intact by replacing the statue with a case of great craft beer.
 
we have a dolphins mini helmet on top the tree. my wife loves it, well not really.
 
Great story, I would have hung the figurine upside down, your voodoo hasn't been perfected yet.
 
Thank you Slim for misplacing the whiny Tom Brady figurine that ensured the great victory. I thought that maybe you busted the Gronk, the Mayo and the Vince Wilfolk figurines and that was why they were absent.
BTW - In the Patriot nativity in the holy New England stable, is Tim Tebow the baby Jesus or is it the other son of God and he's wearing a gray hoodie?
