Glad to see Miami is back on primetime which is where they belong. I was just reminiscing. I had been going out with a young lady for a month or so and she invited me over to her house on a Monday night when Miami just happened to be playing.

She (foreign student) had never watched a game of football in her life and so was clueless to what a "FINADDICT" can be like watching a game. Needless to say, she was bored about a half-hour into the game and wanted to go to the bedroom. Thinking win-win I agree as long as we can turn on the TV in the bedroom. In the middle of our loving making session Miami scores a TD. Unable to stop myself classic conditioning kicks in. I get pumped up full of adrenaline having a burst of energy and yell out loud "YES." Not too long after I am able to...well you know.

After words my girlfriend had the biggest grin on her face I had ever seen her have. I asked her what was up and she said she was so pleased that I was so excited about her that I was able to have multiple orgasms without stopping for a recovery period inbetween. I didn't have the heart to tell her what she thought was multiple orgasms was one orgasm and one Dolphin TD. Just one more benefit of being a Dolphin fan...legendary status in the bedroom. At least, in her eyes. BTW Miami won -- it was a very good night!

Just wondering...any of you got any good "While watching Miami play" stories?

1999 wildcard playoff game in Seattle. Being from Washington my brother and dad and Seahawk fans. Before that final drive I was upset at the way the game had gone but I knew Marino was going to lead us back. My dad and my brother were both all laughs and giggles until Marino led the Fins back down the field and threw the game winning TD pass. We were also part of a playoff pool and I was the only person in the pool who had picked the Fins to win that game. That was a great day. I'd rather not mention what happend the next week. :rolleyes2

On New Year's Day, 1999 (end of the 1998 season), I was sick as a dog. No, not because of partying---I had a stomach flu and spent New Year's Eve in bed or throwing up in the bathroom. Threw up NYD morning as well and was in bed, miserable, when the Dolphins/Bills playoff game started.
Well, being sick, miserable and in a bad, pessimistic mood, I thought sure we would lose the game---I was damn sure the ANNOUNCERS wanted us to lose!
But when Trace Armstrong sacked Doug Flutie for a fumble/recovery to end the game, I felt 100% better!

I was a young Private stationed at Ft Detrick, MD. I was watching Miami play...Someone. My roommie was a KC Chefs fan....He hated the Dolphins, but, we both put aside our subjective dislikes because we both hated the Cowboys so much. Anyways..i liked and, respected him and, he, me, so we could actually watch football together and be fans together.

Those rules basically consisted of
1. No busting hard on the other persons team on game day.
2. If said teams played, you give proper respect to good and class play, regardless of team.
3. Don't taunt, or talk junk....EVER on Sunday. That's for Monday-Saturday.

Anyways...One guy that did not understand the rules was watching. some bad play happened towards the end of the game and, he jumped up and, screamed in joy. I stood, up and, let out a scream of anger, and, slammed my fist into my wall locker. It damaged the locker, and, put me in a cast for three weeks and change. He ran out of my room screaming in fear as I turned to look at him. :D

I will always love Trace because of that play :D

Oh I remember mine clear as I can see. It was a Monday Night we were playing the New Jersey Cropdusters in the Turnpike they call the Meadowlands. Yes it was the meltdown game. Well my wife put are kids to bed at 8:30 and she wanted to have sex big time. She had on some awesome lingerie number smoking hot hot hot! I am holding the remote watching the game with a hard on watching do her little dance and we start to get in the 4th quarter and we start to crumble. She does a strip tease and all and she going down on me naked when I looked back up it was tied 37-37. I said "F*ck can't this wait we are going into OT! She looked up at me and said "What you guys were winning 30-7, you guys suck if it is going to OT! I told her " Why don't you shut up and go to bed I will see you after the game!! Well we lost 40-37 in OT. I went into my room the door was locked. I was on the couch for a couple of days that week. That was in 2000 she never let's me forget that night sometimes. But, we are still together and I love her very much. Will never let it happen again. Yeah, If I remember correctly I made it up to her on that Friday night in the shower. That's when I finally broke down a said "I'm sorry." Then I got mine and she got hers.

I have only seen three Dolphin's games in person, but I will never forget going to the game at Mile High in which Olindo Mare beat the Donkeys in Oct. 2002. I ran out of the stadium screaming.....a guy in a truck said "Dolphin's suck," so I yelled, "Your momma sucks." He chased me for a couple hundred yards..... I got away though and laughed all the way back to my car. Anybody else remember this game?

DENVER (Oct. 13, 2002) -- Jason Elam raised his arms, then high-stepped along the sideline. After hitting a 55-yard field goal with 45 seconds left, Elam figured the game was over.
He was wrong. Olindo Mare trumped Elam's kick with a 53-yarder with 6 seconds remaining as the Miami Dolphins beat the Denver Broncos 24-22.
"To go out there and make a kick like that ... it's probably the biggest kick and longest kick of my life," said Mare, whose career best is 54 yards.
The Broncos (4-2) figured they had the game won when Elam's fifth field goal -- his second over 50 yards -- curled inside the right upright, but Miami quarterback Jay Fiedler had barely enough time to set up Mare's kick.
After Elam's field goal, Miami's Travis Minor returned the kickoff 21 yards to the Dolphins 26 with 40 seconds left. Fiedler, who played the final series with a broken thumb, missed on his first two passes, but hit Randy McMichael on a 17-yarder on third down with 29 seconds left.
Fiedler followed with a 22-yard completion to Dedric Ward, who grabbed the ball after it went right through the outstretched hands of Denver linebacker John Mobley. "Down the stretch, Jay made some big-time throws under pressure," Miami coach Dave Wannstedt said.
Mare, who missed a 48-yarder earlier in the game, calmly hit the field goal, then his teammates mobbed him as he ran toward the sideline. It was the seventh game-winning kick of his career.
"It was one of those great finishes that you see on Classic Sports," Miami's Patrick Surtain said. "It was a great game, man. Two great teams going at it, playing four quarters."

Yeah I remember that game. My boss called me and said sorry. Well I wouldn't take her call. My wife was talking to her. I just said, its not over until its over. She called right after elams kick. And sure enough we came back and WON!

Hmmm well I have recieved oral pleasure while watching the Dolphins MNF game vs Denver in 99 when they "almost" went undefeated but lost to NY before us................and man it was good.....hmmmmmmm

re:

A group of my friends, probably more than 10 of us went the BW-3's Sports Bar, Restaurant, for the MIA/NE game two years back. Well, they were all positive the Phins were going to lose, and they even left late in the fourth quarter when it looked like NE had it wrapped up. I called them 15 minutes later after we won. And to this day none of them will stop watching a game until the clock reads 0:00.

Oh, and I predicted the final score of the game, right on the money. It was awesome. Got a few beers out of that one.

And I was late to school the next day, walked in about an hour late. My teacher (A FIN fan also), had marked me as being there, because he knew it would take me a little while to get in that morning. We shared a high five as I walked in, and it was magic.

My girlfriend when I was 17 walked two towns over to my house because she couldnt get a ride....took her about 7 hours...I told her not to because Miami was playing the Skins on Monday night...she did anyway, and I did the right thing by watching the enitre game from start to finish!!! Miami won 17-10!!!
