Hey i just wanna get some of your opinions on who your fav. dolphin player is and why. personally mine is zach thomas, hes the hart and sole of this dolphin deffence and he always stays positive and does what he needs to do to help his team win wether its hunting down the quarter back or putting a target on the running back and chasing him down from sideline to sideline. this guy is a monster and a tackling machine... i know some of you will say some other guyz so lets hear it. GO MIAMI IN 06 BABY!!!!!!!!!!

it's tough to choose, but i gotta go with jason taylor. he can singlehandedly dominate a game at times. remember the raiders game a couple of years ago? he was all over gannon.

Chris Chambers. One of the most talented players i have ever seen and can make the big play any time. He took a lot of heat this year and really responded to his coache's challenge

Aside from marino.

I have had quite a few favorites. Kind of hard to name just one.

But a few I can think of

Jim Jensen

Bernie parmalee

Nat Moore

Clayton

Duper

Vigorito

David Overstreet ( I was really liking until he died.)

Zach Thomas for me for #1, Ricky #2(current roster) and then Ronnie. Zach reminds me of myself. Just about the same size( have him by 10 pds though) and I love to rip peoples heads off. I also love being the underdog.

Marino is the all-time favorite. Self-explanatory

Others I'd consider:

Bryan Cox - for his competitive fire
Jason Taylor - Saw him play in college, one of the best DEs in the NFL.
Zach Thomas - always fun to see the underdogs succeed.
Sam Madison - I was a corner in high school, he was my favorite corner.
O.J. McDuffie - fun to watch

And of the new wave: Ronnie Brown, he is the future face of the franchise IMO

Ricky is my ALL-TIME favorite player period! I also havent been into football for along time (7-8 years) compared to you guys. But I love Rickys running style.........can plow you over and then run right past you, and for his size I thought he was extremely fast! I also love Jason Taylor.......Oakland Raiders game a few years ago was his best performance.......2 plays - 2 sacks and 1 Forced Fumble I think to start the game off, awesome!

Current: JT - gotta love a dominating pass rusher. Anytime a player can change the game without ever touching the ball it makes them special.

All Time: Marino - Cause no better Qb has ever walked the face of the earth.

Csonka.

That's pure football. Straight ahead and see who's best.

For all I care, the passing game could be outlawed and we'll revert to the single wing. If not that drastic, I darn sure wish pass interference would be outlawed. How pansy is that? "Oh, he touched me! Throw the hankie!" Just tackle the receiver and step on his face. If he can get open far enough to avoid contact, then throw him the ball. Of course, the receiver should be able to smack the defensive back to the ground as well. Let's make this stuff interesting.

After Marino, :hmmm: ;)

My list would have to go:
1-Dan Marino
2-Sam Madison
3-Mark Clayton
4-OJ McDuffie
5-Chris Chambers (moving up)
6-Bryan Cox
7-Patrick Surtain
8-Troy Vincent
9-Mark Duper
10-Irving Fryar

Can you tell I like CBs & WRs?

All time favorite is Sam Madison. Marino is an obvious choice up there as well. As of this moment, Madison excluded, my favorite player on the team is Ricky Williams. He might be a real piece of sh*t, but hes the most amazing player ive ever watched play. Cleo Lemon is the player that im most excited about. I think this kid is going to be unbelieveable.
