You don't have to cover every single move that must be made but just an over view of some changes you would like to see along with a brief explanation on some of the suspect ones, one change or acquisition you would love to see made but is more of a pipe dream, one move you would hate to see made and one improvement you want to see from someone already on the roster.

Ideal Off-Season

Re-sign Grimes
Cut Wheeler
Don't Resign Clemons (draft a playmaking FS or look into the type of money Byrd is getting)
Cut D. Thomas
Sign Alex Mack to play C and move Pouncey to RG (If were going to stay with a ZBS we need a line thats quicker on its feet)
Sign Branden Albert
Release both sides of Bully-Gate ( I think J. Martin is a ***** BUT you have to set an example as an organization that certain things won't be tolerated)
Draft or sign a RB
Sign Kuhn
Trade Wake for OT/Draft Picks
Draft Ebron or Amaro

Pipe Dream

Fire Joe Philbin or Sign Jimmy Graham to the highest paid TE contract ever if a kid from the U can be talked into coming home or feels disrespected by the Saints offer if the saints can't manage to clear enough cap space.

DO NOT WANT

Sign MJD to anything long term despite the fact that he is a great blocking RB. I don't think we are close enough to a superbowl to warrant signing veterans on the tail end of there careers to anything long term or big money. I don't mind a veteran min. deal or looking to sign a veteran to bring Miller along though. I also don't want Ben Tate because I don't think hell be able to stay healthy.

Expected Improvement

Wallace to have a much better year from being put in motion more but also fighting for the ball more. This is first year where he was criticized for his production because he didn't have these kind of expectation until he got his most recent pay day and I think that he is going to work on what he has to for him to be a respected #1 option.

Again this is all opinion so I don't expect everyone to agree, Im just curious to see some of your opinions.

Good read don't agree with a lot but good read. Still don't get why everyone wants to cut Wheeler when Ellerbee was every bit as bad if not worse and gets paid more

If you trade Wake then who takes his spot? Sorry rather keep Wake that way we dont have to fix another area. Might as well give LBs another year to gel in defense too. Unless we try Dion at one spot there because I dont see him as a DE. I am ok with bringing in Ben Tate . But o line needs fixed. Not crazy about switching our center as he may have good chemistry with Tannenhill. But I would like to see us draft o line and maybe bring in some bodies via free agency. I am ok with drafting o linemen first tho.

Im ok keeping Wake he plays for solid value unlike many others on the team and he is still a very good player.
If the right offer came why not but I don't see anyone overpaying for Wake due to age.

I think Wake is ok. I would like to see pressure from other side that way Wake can be himself and not be doubled. Unless we can find someone spectacular to fil. His shoes I would rather keep and find someone to make pressure from opposite end.

Pretty hard to have two studs on DL but Vernon did put good pressure so not sure that was the issue

Yeah . Also wasnt wake hurt part of year. I think defense is ok for most part . Jury is still out on some Lbs and corners. But mabe another year together will do some good. I want to see offense fixed first. That way we could possibly contol the clock and game. Defense wont be in bad position. But that is all hhypothetical until something is fixed.

well offense was basically the same or worse the year before so I don't think the offense made the defense worse.
hate our LBing corp now just a bunch of overpaid guys with no depth

Knowshon Moreno would be nice, but PED users usually stay Broncos.

Good read. I would definitely keep Wake and kick him inside on certain passing downs with Jordan then sliding into his DE spot.

I don't know if I would spend the money it's going to take to get Mack. Plus, you never know what you're going to do to Pouncey's confidence if you slide him to guard.

Agree that Grimes is a must sign at this point. I know we're waiting on a new GM before making definitive moves, but I would almost go ahead and let Aponte take a shot at negotiating a new deal. She can certainly do that, and it would show Grimes and his agent that we are serious about making a commitment to him. DO NOT let him shop for a new deal and have the market dictate terms. We'll end up paying more, especially if the corner draft class is weak.
