ok i am sitting here watching the pats kill the bengals and it got me thinking when saban took over it was all about rebuilding this team and turning the corner for the future and i was ready for a 2-3 year rebuilding stage, and then the worst thing happened we won 6 straight and brainwashed everyone including saban into thinking this team could make a playoff push with our old guys,so we went after cpepp and some other vets, imo saban wanted to blow this team up but he could not because of the false hope of being a contender this year. this is my opinion, saban will rebuild next off season and continue with his original plan. so say bye bye to all the old overpaid guys like zach,jt,traylor,carter,booker,zgonina ect. we will load up on picks and get some young FA and play young guys next year. I love what zach, jt and all of our other vets have done but its past there time. oh and one more thing, if my saban changing his plans after the 6 game streak theory is not true then why trade surtain? and then go pay other vets this offseason? could this be true or am i delusional from us losing to HOUSTON?

This is so True

The team that we beat last season was not that Great (esp. NE)
 
I think you are right to some degree. Some of the vets were kept this season to WIN NOW. And guess what... Miami is losing. So yes, a bunch of vets will go. I think JT and Zach will stay though.

Traylor and Zgonina will probably go and let Vickerson and Evans fill in. Booker will probably be gone. Hagan will get his shot at the #2 WR spot. I'm sure Saban will tweak the secondary again too. Players like Hill and Goodman may not return. Allen will soon start back at safety.

So yeah, some of the old vets will go next season for sure.

Goodman may stay he is a good CB and can be a 4th/3rd CB on the roster next year hopefully 4th b/c daniels will be in the original spot at 3rd and a new guy at 2nd. Booker will be gone. he is good but not that good for the amount he makes and drops clutch passes. Hagan wont be the numbe 2. I think we will get a new guy in as well.

zach is a great player, but rarely effective blitzing.
 
you are right at rebuilding that's what we should have done we also should have hired a young offensive cordinator a young up and comer to gell as the team gelled i just wish we had more pics in the draft players i like merriweather jamarcus russell calvin johnson and any dominate O-lineman
