but how much longer can we go on winning games like this??

My biggest problem is we arent pounding the ball enough with Ronnie. As soon as Ronnie seems successful, they pull back and start throwing or using a wildcat. Ronnie needs more carries, tire their defenses and burn time. We are giving the opposition too much time to get back in the game and tiring our defense!

Thoughts??

If it ain't broke. Don't fix it!

Chad Pennington has been able to do just about everything asked of him since week 6, (took a little time to get acclimated) and I have faith that he will score if we need, or run the clock if we need, or whatever. The only offensive strategy we have been unable to deal with has been aerial onslaughts forcing a shootout. Our defense is finally starting to focus enough to shut down the pass game in a shortened field (red zone), so don't underestimate that. While we give a lot of room in open field situations and you often hear the "bend but don't break" tag put on us; this is tell-tell, and I'm happy to hear it. Don't expect a lot of games to suffer such a lopsided TOP either. Our special teams is our most fragile unit and could go either way from this point on, 1 or 2 big plays from them and we can compete with ANY team out there right now......let's focus on that.

If you have noticed, our gameplan has varied quite a bit each week. They are trying to exploit the weakness of each individual opponent while utilizing the amount of talent we have to the best of our ability. It may not be pretty, but we are not good enough to kick everyones butts by 30 points every week in the same exact fashion. It takes pashion and creativity for us to win and frankly, I will take them any way we can get them after last year.

20-0, score of miami's preseason game against the chiefs. That was with their stars in for 2 quarters. Porter didnt play.. I feel good about our chances!

Forget Pre-season, that has ZERO to do with 16 weeks later!!

Detroit was 4-0 and now 0-14

It means NOTHING!!!!

The reason our run game has been I would say at best moderately effective is because we don't over abuse it and open it up with the pass.

The pre-season is insignificant. Didn't the Patriots go winless WITH Brady?

By the way, I think the score was 24-0.
