I was looking around youtube and found that and watched it about 500 times straight. Who remembers that? I like Coles as a player and a role model but damn dude YOU JUST GOT JACKED UP.

p.s. anyone have a better quality clip of the hit? i'd appreciate it if you could share it
 
that is so awesome. Then I fast foward the game tape and watch the jets kick the field goal (make the playoffs) and beat the dolphins for the 5th time out of 6 games.

And then they sweep the Jets in 2007! I know, it's so awesome.
 
That hit and the one Michael Lehan laid on Leon Washington 2 plays prior to that both brought me off my couch and to my feet. Great hitting in that game all night long.

That was such a terrible game, being proud of that win is like being proud of a crap you take.

You can thanks Joey Harrington for sending you guys to the playoffs last year.

that was far from a dirty hit. there was nothin illegal about the hit Zach laid on him. could Coles have gotten seriously hurt? yeah, so could any player on any team in any game. I'm glad he didn't get seriously hurt. I love competition. But to say that one can not celebrate a good, clean hit in a rival game... that's arguing against one of the best things in the NFL. Everyone loves to see a guy get leveled in a Miami v. Jets game, a Cowboys v. 'Skins game, a Denver v. KC game. as long as it doesn't end his career, and doesn't end his season. But Zach just plain hit him hard. nothing dirty about it.

And I'm just sick of a Jets fan posting non stop here. We know they went to the playoffs. We know they have our number in recent history. I don't need to be told that. WE KNOW. That's why we're working towards being better. But he has his own thread. These blogs are meant to discuss our team, our offseason progress, hopes, and thoughts. Not our competitions progress. I don't care who the Jets, Pats, or Bills sign or lose. That's out of Miami's control I just want the Fins to go out there, play there best, hit them hard, and hopefully win.
