Hey! What up yall!?!? It's been a while since I've posted, I've been crazy busy with school and work.....

Yall probably already know.....but Zach and Wes are coming to get inducted in the Texas Tech Hall of Fame. I'm a Resident Advisor here in the dorms, and guy on my floor has tickets to the gig tonight, and he's going to sit and the same table as them!!! I told him that I was the biggest phins fan in the world and that I was extremely jealous! Then he said, he would try to get me a ticket to sit with them tonight!!!! Ah man, this would be sweet. I'll let you guys know if I'm able to go or not. Wish me luck!!! :D
 
That would be so sweet to meet them. Are tickets openly for sale for this or do you need to be a student there? I would drive up from San Angelo if theres even a chance I could meet Zack and Wes. :cooldude:
 
I was a TA at Texas Tech in 1989, a little before Zach was there. I miss Jones Stadium and watching Red Raider games. Congrats to Zach...is Wex also be inducted? Awesome!!!

hmmm....im not sure. but it starts tonight here at 6:30.


and I'm not too sure if Wes is getting in too, but I know they're probably both here because we play the Longhorns tomorrow.

that cool. Seems to be the only bright spot for the fins this season.
 
Long story short: my buddy didn't come through.....but I went up there anyway. Didn't see Zach......then a Lubbock police officer made me leave the building because I didn't have a ticket. (I guess I was sticking out being the only guy there in a bright orange dolphins jersey, while everyone else was dressed formally).

Then..... I leave the building..... I pass this guy, this is how it went....

guy: hey!, did you get him to sign your poster?

me: nah, they kind of kicked me out, I don't exactly have a ticket.

guy: Really? because he just walked in there with Wes a minute ago....

me: Oh yeah? Literally a minute ago?????

guy: yeah, I'm his cousin, we just got here.





AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!


I missed him by a minute! And of course as soon as I got to my truck, the 'Shouda, Woulda, Couldas' hit me. I should have told him I was a huge fan and asked him if I could meet him.....but nooooo. I wasn't thinking on my toes

What a big goof on my part. :boohoo:

Is their Hall of Fame new? If Welker is getting inducted today, Thomas should have been inducted maybe 10 years ago, no?
