He has voided his contract with the Cowboys and will be a Free Agent at the end of the season.

I know he is not a beast on every play anymore. But he still can make an impact with our younger players. I still think he plays at a high enough level to help a team that needs a 1st & 2nd down run stuffer.

I'm sure he is happy that the Fins are back in the playoffs and would play for a smaller type contract. Nothing better than to see him retire as a Dolphin and start coaching as a DOLPHIN the next season as a LB coach.

GO FINS!!!

Personally, I thought Crowder played better with Zach at his side. If it's the right price I'd say bring him back to help Crowder out.

He won't be brought back. Unlike Taylor who wanted out and finally got his wish, it was Miami that told Zach to pack his bags. If they didn't want him this season, why would they want him this season?

no, he does not fit this scheme for a middle linebacker. he is undersized for what he would be asked to do here. one of my favorite all time players though, and i wish him well .

Why would we want to get older? Honestly, I don't think we would be where we are now if we had JT and Zach. What did they do without us? Nothing. They were pro bowlers on crappy teams. They go to what should have been contender teams and they crapped out. There is no reason for us to bring in dead old weight. We can get better at LB through the draft.

Of course out of sentimentality I want to see him back. But the dream scenario is as our LB coach.

No. He did not play well at all IMO this year at Dallas. I think the only reason they kept him as a starter was because of who he is...and the FO would look like idiots if he didn't start.

I have to agree that we're not bringing him back and I think he might retire too.

Ozzy rules!!

We need to upgrade at least two of those LB positions. Zach would be a move in the wrong direction even as a back-up.

He should retire & be happy that he won't be getting any more concussions.

I'm sure you've heard all those stories about former NFL LB'ers and RB's and all the health problems they have from concussions. Hoge has told some very disturbing personal stories about leaving the house and forgetting where he was going to or where he had just left once he pulled out of the drive way...
