He has incredible career stats but no super bowl ring.

And the way Miami looks now it seems as if we wont even make it close until at least 2008 when Thomas will be like 35.

Not sure how you figure 2008 but whatever makes you happy. Some guys love to play and are not bound by the all-mighty superbowl ring but by loyalty to a team(see Dan Marino) Zack is too, one of those guys
 
Dan Marino should sign w/ the Pats before they get their Super Bowl rings, so he can have one too.

Fins will be in the Superbowl by 2007 in MIAMI.
