I know that this may get bumped because he plays for Dallas now, but did anyone catch Zach Thomas on the HBO's " Hard Knocks" last night? I just thought that he looked great, the players and coaches seem to absolutely LOVE him, and to be honest, it made me wonder why they couldn't have kept him around to help teach the younger guys. I know, I know, the concussions and all, but I think his experience would have been invaluable, along with his work ethic... He looks strong, they said he has picked up their system pretty well, and that he is heading toward the ball before it's even released because he is so smart. They seem thrilled to have him.

Just a couple of other notes on him - he absolutely leveled their backup running back, and he also flies in his stretching therapist from Miami. I guess when you leave home you take a little piece of it with you.

We definitely miss you Zach!

I loved that hit. Zach was laughing afterwards because it is Ray Lewis's brother that he leveled. Even the guy that got hit was laughing afterwards but he doesn't look like he is going to stick with the cowboys. He can always say he got jack up by hall of famer Zach Thomas. So he has that going for him.

Thanks - I didn't catch that episode - I'll definitely have to watch when they show it again.

Im happy we released him. He was my favorite player but it was time for the old saying to take its toll in Miami, "Out with the old, in with the new"

We wont move this because Zach will always be a part of this community and team.

Don't know if anybody caught the cowboys and and chargers game but Zach laid the wood to rookie Jacob Hester on a goal line play...needless to say he welcomed Hester to NFL! Gonna miss you Zach...
