Why Did Every This Offseason Want To Trade Zach .. And Thought That Is Career Was Going To Go Down Hill ... Ray Is No Younger Than Zach And No One Said Anything About Him

i agree, he is not on the decline this year or next year maybe 3-5 seasons from now

like i was so surprised how everyone thought about him this off season i couldn;t beleave it

Zack's carrier was extended by a couple years thanks to Sabin's system. The less hitting more endurance training camp can't hurt either. Zack's a natural leader, a quality that does not come with all players.

also, he has changed his training regime this year to compensate for his age. You have to think that having Jr. around as an example would have a positive influence.

he's probably got a few years left but if he wants to be a dolphin he'll have to take a paycut soon.

My question is... Where's Erroneous Flint, and all these other goofballs, lunatics, and half-bright know-nothings who suggested how overhill and how much of a product of the system Zach Thomas is?

Week one, playing in a different system, Zach Thomas is leading the league in tackles. He had 3 straight goal-line stuffs in this new system. Not only that, but the Denver Broncos GAMEPLANNED for him. Did you notice Keith Traylor expressing surprise on how little the Broncos double teamed him? That's because they thought it more important to put a man on Zach Thomas.

I doubt we'll see these people come and eat crow.

One thing that I think most people never considered is Zach is a smaller guy. They tend to have a longer career because of the less stress and physical toll on their body.

Another thing is Zach was never good because of athleticism. He is jsut one of the smarter players to ever play the game. Once again he should be around longer than most simply because if he never relied on athletic talent he isnt going to miss it as much when he starts to lose it.
