Does anyone know if or when Zach is projected to come back. As much as I enjoy seeing Pope, Crowder and Spragan out there getting some reps, I really want Zach back out there.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...ec06,0,7627837.story?coll=sfla-dolphins-frontLinebacker Zach Thomas (shoulder, ankle), who has missed the past two games, and receiver Marty Booker (calf) will try to practice Wednesday.
If they show no ill effects, they will play Sunday.

Oh and Booker > Gilmore.
Alex22 said:Good we need thomas to shut down LT
FuturePhin said:Hope~!! We have Keith and Manny cloging up the middle! No hope needed. LT's better off just sittin this one out. :D
Alex22 said:Love the confidence!!
I think we can shut him down especially if we take an early lead
Crowder and Thomas
Traylor in the middle along w Vonnie Holliday who has played well
and if we get an early lead we can force them into pass situations
and we all know what Jason does to the other teams passing game :D
Phinz1972 said:Your not really respecting their passing game are ya? Who in our secondary will cover Gates? Who will cover Parker? Madison will probally be on Kennen M. or whatever his name is, and a LB on Gates is crazy, so if we somehow manage to take a early lead, their is no gurantee that they go with pass the rest of the game, I mean look at the Redskins game, they kept feeding LT the ball when down, and why? Because the man is a monster that will burst through the smallest hole he sees.
Now, it we can manage to keep LT at around 3 to 4yards per carry on 1st down and hold him on 2nd, we can play the pass upfront and manage it if our secondary doesn't play sloppy and get interference calls and makes the plays instead of trying to pick it off when it's a easy coverage knockdown.
Alex22 said:who will cover gates? here feel free to laugh but im serious
This years unsung hero of the secondary, lance Schulters
I dont mean to say they will just drop back and pass but we have a solid run D and i dont see LT haveing a big game
Phinz1972 said:Lance on Gates? Then that really opens up the deep ball doesn't it?
The only thing that worries me is Gates being covered by a LB, most times he will have a field day with a LB covering him, but he is somewhat recovering from an ankle injury, so he may be slowed down.
I can't remember the stats LT had against us last time we played them(when there was that fire and the game was moved), but I don't think he a field day. I understand we all want the Dolphins to win, but we just can't devote to stopping the run or the pass, we have to play both. If we do manage LT, we can hold the victory in our grasp, our offense just needs to step it up and score when they score.
Alex22 said:I agree with what your saying
and lance on gates opens things up deep but thats where I trust madison and daniels
besides who is san diego's deep threat?
Phinz1972 said:Parker is fast and that Kennan or however its spelt guy is pretty darn good running deep routes from what I've seen, he was ok in Tampa Bay but can get deep fast and make a play. Can't forget the Chargers liking to dump LT in the flats for a short pass that turns into a big gain because of his skills. I agree with ya on the what Taylor does to the passing game of the opponent, so if we get pressure fropm Jason and from Vonnie again, we are looking at quick passes and short gains by LT, which is what needed. So our front needs to have a day like they did against the Raiders in order for us to manage this game within reach... and if Thomas comes back, he can eye LT and stay on him and be there in a snap if its a handoff.
