The entirely too early post draft projected 53 man roster thread

Please see below:

QB (2):
Skylar Thompson
Gavin Hardison
  • Tua is clearly over hyped and we need the extra cash. No need to drag this out.

RB (4):
Ahmed
Wilson
Brooks
Wright
  • No need to keep old and small Running backs around when they are redundant. Make the change!

WR (6):
Ezukanma
Shcwartz
Waddle
Craft
Je"Quan
Washington (pick one)
  • WOW what a draft eh! The sheer point that THE CHEATH is now obsolete is a testament to the brilliance A+++

TE (4)
Connor
Fortson
Hill
Rucci
  • Time for this group of under appreciated worker bees to get their due! More reps to the non-loved!

OL (9)
Matos
Hayes
Jones
Meyer
Hines
Smith
Lamm
Paul
Cotton
  • The brilliance of this line is versatility! No one man for a job, all men can do all jobs!

NT (2)
Tart
Pili
  • Big ole' fat men in the middle occupying double teams.......yeah buddy!

LDE (3)
Payne
Mack
Harris
  • With one less man to block due to the big men above, this group tees off!

RDE (2)
Gallimore
Nixon
  • This side is a formality, with the pressure from the left non-stop, this group is here for right side contain!

LOLB (3)
Murphy
Vandenburgh
Goode
  • Youth = Speed

LILB (2)
Tindall
Wlaker Jr.
  • This is Tindall's time to shine in his new roll as defense leader and LB Super Star !

RILB (2)
Brown
Riley
  • Duke is a chess piece, a clear dominator, allows so much versatile of the D, it's the 85 bears reborn.

ROLB (3)
Bell
Kamara
Barrett
  • The NASCAR of OLB'ers, GO FAST TURN LEFT YOU WILL BE SUCESSFUL.

LCB (3)
Johnson
Bonner
Smith
  • Smith is a true shut down CB, he allows double teams on the weak side limiting opponents to one dimensional throwing

SS (2)
Perry
McMorris
  • The hammers of the D, this group lays the wood!

FS (2)
Colbert
Campbell
  • Ball hawkin' ain't easy but they get it done!

RCB (2)
Duck
Needham
  • Duck Duck Goose!

NB (2)
Neal
Kohou
  • Neal and bow as this is on lockdown.

Punter
  • No need for a punter we will go on 4th 100% of the time and score prolifically.

Kicker (1)
Sanders
  • Given the prolific nature of this offense, Sanders will get a leg work out for sure!

LS (0)
Mayer
  • If you can snap a ball under center, you can snap a ball the long way too!

Holder (0)
Harrison
  • He needs something to do other than hold a clip board for Thompson.

Now now, I know some of you are gonna flame this "ALL TOO EARLY 53 PREDICTION" but hear me out here!!! This roster is perfect, it solves all sorts of cap issues down the road, in fact fielding this roster leads to 300m in cap space in 2025 (please overlook the fact that we need to clear an additional 95m this season due to guaranteed monies but hey, Grier needs something to do now that the draft and free agency is over!! Feel free to check my math too, I didn't, I just pulled it out of my ass but it sounds good!).

Truly an inspirational team for the next decade, making the hard choices now will ensure the mediocre ways of the past two decades are not lost for future generations (why should those littler ****ers get a free pass on glory, suffer like us old timers son!!). It is our duty to pass along the traditions of overreactions, coaching changes, QB changes, system changes and uniform changes to all those who think they are here for a good time. Jokes on you, ya little entitled ankle kickers! We earned our stripes, the Field Marshals of 500!

Love the move , making Tyreek a TE! Going from 820 targets to 8.2 in a season.

Looks pretty close. That tight end projection could go way different. I think Hlill makes it.

If the team signs OBJ, the wr from USC is likely a practice squad possibility. I hope EZ steps up as he is the type of receiver Miami could use.

Any predictions on the log jam at LT? Armstead, Lamm, Smith, and now Paul, none of them have shown an ability to kick inside. Who sticks?

Okay here's another version with a different perspective.

QB’s -3

I haven’t been able to confirm that the NFL passed the proposed rule about the 3rd (emergency) QB could be on the PS. So, I’ll assume 3.

Tua, White & Thompson.

White has 1.2m in dead money but does save 3.5m, so it would be doable if Thompson was thought to be the #2.

Thompson is only 20K in dead cap if he can be placed on the PS.

Running back - 4

The restructure of Wilson looks like it might him make him a weekly inactive unless there is an injury. Ahmed can be cut without cost, but it only costs 90K to attempt to put Brooks on the PS.

Mostert, Achane, Wright & Wilson

Fullback – 1

Ingold isn’t going anywhere.

Tight End – 3

Symthe & Smith are locks.

Hill & Fortson are both financially cuttable, so Grier may try and sneak one on the PS. No idea about the UDFA. I think Conner is gone.

WR - 5

Hill, Waddle, EZ, Malik, BB all make it, Tahj could do, but I’m sure we could hide River on the PS as there is no dead money.

OT - 4

Armstead, Jackson & Paul are locks, Lamm & Smith are probably fighting out. But the finances are in favour of Lamm. Smith can be cut without cost, so Smith & Hayes both on the PS but we might lose one again.

OG - 4

Wynn, Eich & Driscoll are in, though Eich is the in-game OC backup even if he is the starting RG.

Jones.R & Jones (the UDFA), Hines & Cotton are in a battle for the other spot. And Jones.R is financially the favorite here and probably on proven ability as well.

OC -1

Brewer isn’t financially cuttable and the UFDA would have to really impress to consider anything other than the PS. It could be two is we sign someone like Dan Feeney again, but they would need to have C/G flexibility to replace the 4th OG spot.

Total offense: 25

Specialists- 3

Saunders would only incur 731k in dead money but does save 3.7m but who are we bringing in?

Ferguson is selling his shirt to stay on the team & Bailey (even though I didn’t think he should be brought back) was handed a suitcase for 1.6m this year (no savings at all).

DL – 6 (initially), 5 later

Seiler, Tart, Jones (another suitcase of money), Gallimore (yet another suitcase), Harris & Hand.

Hand looks like the most likely cut when Chubb comes back but we may have 4-6 weeks of tape by then. Pili, Mack & Nixon are here for camp.

Edge - 4 (initially), 5 later

Phillips, Chop, Mo & Barret with Chubb returning off PUP.

Two of Murphy, Bell, Goode, Vandenburgh find their way onto the PS.

LB – 5

Brooks, Long, Duke & Walker. With one of Brown or Tindall on the PS.

DB – 10

I do think Ramsay could be all over the field this year, so some weeks as a lockdown corner, playing the slot and others as a safety. i.e. Weapon.

Outside Corners – Ramsey, Fuller, Smith, Bonner (though it could be Duck but in limited action Bonner had, he looked better than Eli Apple!)

Slot – Ramsey, Kodou, Needham

Safety – Holland, Ramsey, Poyer, one of McMorris, Perry or Campbell. I think Needham can be x-trained as the fourth safety too.

S.T specialist – Neal

Defence – 25

Of course, this all changes when we sign Van Roten to play RG, Diggs to play safety & OBJ as #3 WR post June 1st.

Dolphinswire posted theirs. Let's see yours.

I do not see them carrying 10 OLs with one of them being Cotton. The very idea he could make the roster again seems mind-boggling to me. I'd keep 9 while keeping one more IDL. Probably Harris.
I also would be surprised to see Mark Perry as the 4th safety over Patrick McMorris.
