PFF rated him as one of the 14 receivers in NCAA to receive a 99.9 deep receiver grade this past season.

I don't doubt the player... heck, he was supposed to go much earlier.

What I doubt is the value to our offense. He's a similar player to Waddle and Hill... and I get the utility to have depth, but... I really think we need some size in there somewhere.

I would have taken Rice or Miller there.

I just dislike the approach.

Goodness. Although I love the player in Chop, after the first couple rounds I got this feeling I was not going to like our draft this year. But I was wrong. I love it. They are just compiling players I love for the most part. Still think we have a big hole at guard with no answer but strictly players and value Miami has killed the draft.

Coach was excited last year by the Achane pick and that turned out ok.

To seem him this excited over a 6th round pick makes me think he’s already got a plan for him.

This is looking like our primary slot wr. A tough kid who can make contested catches. Route running isn't as crisp right now but you definitely have a high potential guy here in round 6. I can see him pushing berrios to just a special teams role. If he becomes a better route runner they can move him outside.

That's the problem with our passing offense currently... no size at all.

Again... I don't hate the player. I hate the lost opportunity to expand on what we do.

Watching the draft on NFL Network, I liked what they said about this player when he was picked. Seems like a good addition to the WR group.
