Next up for the Miami Dolphins: The rotten, stinkin’ — and winless — Jets

The Dolphins have a way of making the Jests look good. This will be a close game for sure. Hopefully Adam Gase can get his play-calling brushed up and hopefully #14 isn't injured where he doesn't play.

The Jets, no matter how bad they are, always give the Dolphins fits. As well as the rest of the AFCE teams. I don't take any of those games lightly.
I keep telling them....

Jets have a shot due to San Degio exposing our Corners are weak and our Linebackers can't cover. We need adjustments immediately. Jets are not a good team but still are professionals

As much as the Jets have sucked against the run (I believe both Buffalo and Oakland racked up 180+ yards rushing) I'd really like to go vertical as much as possible against then. Don't want to burn on Ajayi early in the season with that dreadful stretch of the schedule on the horizon.

We will need him to keep Drew Brees off the field. Don't want three games of 25-28+ carries.

If you think we got problems, try becoming a Jets fan, they actually want to tank the season for a QB......how lousy is that. A QB by itself is not going to solve the jets problems...not by a long shot.
I actually think it's the right thing to do when you're a team with no shot at the postseason, especially when your starting QB is 38 years old......and trash.

I'd want the same if we were in their position. This season is already lost for them.

I think my favorite post on the Jets board is "nothing about the Dolphins scare me".... like really? Your team is seriously in consideration of 0-16. Now I'm not taking a divisional opponent lightly but that is such a stupid statement.

No team wants to tank it nor do they tank it. This is a fan philosophy. If the Jets could win 6 games they will. Players on the team still play for future contracts either with the Jets or someone else. No GM or owner wants to tank a season considering that every team has a season ticket holder base. In the Jets case they charge a PSL on top of seasonticket prices.

This "tanking" is an invention of the media and fans.

Jets are a very bad football team and we should win this game.

HOWEVER, we are catching them at the worst time, the absolute worst possible time. They haven't given up on the season yet, the players are probably a little desperate for a win, and their starting QB hasn't gone on his annual trip to the hospital. I still like our chances to win, but I bet this is going to be a closer game than most anticipate.

Honestly, the main reason I feel good about this game is that Adam Gase is a good coach and Todd Bowles is not. Feels good to say that.
