I'm starting to feel JT

Marquise Gray hasn’t blocked very well either in his run.

They dont seem all that high on grays future.

His run looks more #2 or even #3 long termish

There’s nothing that looks like gray is unseating Thomas though
Yeah, and that has been disappointing, because I really liked what Gray offered last year as a hybrid H-Back/FB.

Personally, I think Julius Thomas is still on the chopping block this offseason unless his play takes several more significant ticks up. He is a liability in pass pro, and he doesn't do diddly (or dilly) in the run game, and he was brought in to be a seam threat and he clearly isn't that. What we have is a big target receiver who sometimes makes a circus catch but generally doesn't have reliable hands. Not a good combo.

...and Fasano. when the box is stacked, the outside and middle (forTE's) is open

Julius Thomas is still horrible even though he made a one handed catch sunday. The guy is a total liability in the run game and the next tackle he breaks will be his first 2 TE sets should be Gray and Fasano. This guys is living off of 2 fluke years with Manning at QB and surrounded by a lot of weapons.

Thomas has absolutely no interest in run blocking. He has gotta put better effort there or we need to continue to have Fasano eat into those snaps.

Too many drops from Thomas and a spectacular one handed catch doesn't change that.

He needs to dominate in the redzone

I really liked this signing but he has been disappointing to say the least and again I thought he was just a poor run blocker, its not even that, watching him up close he just doesn't want to run block IMO.

Its gotta get better. And I agree with others . . . Don't call him JT.

Speaking of tight ends, bringing Fasano back was a great move. It's a shame that he was sent packing / was eager to get sent packing because Joe Philbin was such a weaselly loser, because the guy's a quality TE.

I hope he's got another year left in the tank.

Thomas has to show consistency. He had a flashy catch. Need more than that.

agreed, always loved Fasano here. And he should clearly be starting over Thomas.

Still looks sluggish to me...

No quickness or balance...

His best play this season was the catch and run against the Titans to set up the game winner...

i agree about sluggish. he'll need to put together a few more good games for me to think hes turned a corner.

Different players. Fasano is getting a lot of snaps. He's not a great pass catching weapon, but he's also underrated as one. He can run the right route to the right spot and catch the football. He's just not going to climb the ladder for a jump ball or get separation in man coverage.

Playing better but still running at half speed compared to his time in Denver. Difficult to watch him lumber out there.

Not saying he's ballin out but noticing he's out there.. good to see
