Gase says he will never give up play calling

I do not think I have seen a qb more afraid to take a hit than Cutler. He consistently is leaning back and not stepping into his throws, often with imaginary pressure. But, his decision making is premised on him making mechanically sound throws so that’s a basis for his mistakes. That’s a big part of the answer as to why a guy with his arm talent struggles. He’s erratic. Sometimes it’s the most obvious thing. Gase is trying to work with what he’s got.

Well we have 1 more year of his High School playbook and in comes Jim harbaugh

I don't speak for him, but I think the play calling has been fine. We're averaging like 6 yards per carry after changing running backs and there are open receivers.

?

Versus Oakland
1 rush for 42 yards
17 rushes for 44 yards

Versus Carolina
1 rush for 66 yards
16 rushes for 34 yards

2 rushes for 108 yards
33 rushes for 78 yards

Average means squat when there's no consistency
