Rumor:Andre Ellington released

I like Ellington as a receiver out of the backfield. Would be the closest thing Miami has has to a Darren Sproles type sense Reggie Bush was here.

How good is he in the pass game and pass pro? Also health wise does he suit up every week

Miamis has 5 top 4 round picks one of them has to be invested in a between the tackles option

Don't know what happened to Hill, but he's been terrible the last 2 years. Pass

Possible fits for Andre Ellington: Redskins (Thompson replacement), Bills, Cowboys, Packers (Ty timeframe?), Texans, Colts, Chiefs, Seahawks, Steelers, 49ers (okay so yeah, lots of options)

Looks like a long list

I used to really like Ellington, he was a very effective player when he was healthy, just had a problem with durability and then got buried behind the Johnsons. However he hasn't been buried this year and he still wasn't effective and an organization that really liked him gave up on him. Also he profiles as a very similar type player to the two backs we already have who can probably be a lot more successful considering they know the system.

I'm not really sure that Cincy has known what they are doing for a couple years. I'd have to see some tape on him to see where the physical skills are at.
 
I'll definitely take a flier on him. He's a great receiver outta the backfield and has good shiftyness to his game
 
Why does it matter who gets the carries if our OL still sucks. We need so many other players before we need a RB.
 
Sure sign him why not. Might as well abandon the running game completely because with this line and these backs,other then the occasionally big run, you get a run for a couple yards or a loss. Might as well go with the quick short passing game with quick throws to the RBs and quick slants to the WRs. Of course you could also try more screen passes but the Dolphins has sucked at those.
