1974 Dolphins Historical Tidbit

In 1974, The Miami Dolphins won Super Bowl VIII, 24 - 7 over the Minnesota Vikings.

Also, that same year: Current University of Pittsburgh coach and former Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt was drafted in the 15th round of the NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was a senior tight end at Wesleyan, where he also played squash and lacrosse.

Is it coincidence that the Dolphins have not won a Super Bowl since DW has been associated with the NFL?

Will we win one again now that he is no longer accociated with the NFL?

Never seen Miami win a Super Bowl. The only one of my favorite major sports teams that hasnt won the title. Just happens to be the one that i follow the closest isnt that ironic.
