    Boldin joins 49ers

Apparantly the 49ers have traded a 6th round pick for Boldin. That team is scary and is just getting better and better.

Harbaugh connection? Plus they probably wanted him out of the AFC if they could.

All the people bashing Ireland need to realize there are 29 other GMs who didn't do a damn thing either. Perspective is important, but then again this is finheaven.

Boldin to SF for a 6th rounder?!?

SF makes a move to keep up with Seattle.
Kind of wish Miami would have made this move for Boldin!

What if he forced Baltimore's hand and told them he'd only go to SF?

You assume any NFL team was where Boldin wanted to go.

7.5 for Boldin + 6th Round pick is a better deal than 6 and change for Hartline. Just sayin'.

Not to mention that if you're Baltimore and going to trade him, you're probably going to be more likely to trade him out of the conference

I'm with LD.....Wallace, Hartline and Bess is not enough.

In order to compete with the big boys we need big time playmakers.

SF/Seattle/Atlanta are going hard to beef up their offenses...I hope we follow suit. Wallace alone is not going to cut it.

Ya, they said that and then less than an hour later they were in negotiations with the 49'rs. So perhaps their idea of calling suitors and my idea are completely different, but it sounds like one brother doing the other a solid.

I like how so many jump right to bashing the phins for not offering a better deal without knowing any details whatsoever.

I hate the niners. But it was probably the brothers, also Boldin gets to go back to the west coast and a division he knows well.
