Overview:
Ricky Stanzi can be a very impressive QB at times and then other times looks awful. He has all the tools you look for in a QB. He has the size, experience, plays in an pro-style system, he has a decent arm, he’s a good leader etc. If he puts all of these together CONSISTENTLY he’ll be a much better player. His biggest problem is inconsistency. His footwork is inconsistent, his accuracy is inconsistent, he stares down his WR’s sometimes while other times doing a great job to look off the safety and going through his reads. He’s improved a lot in his Senior year and he has climbed up draft boards. He has a shot at being a starter in the NFL.

He had a great Junior season but followed it up with a poor Senior year. The talent on his team did drop off and Enderle was not able to get back on track. He has all of the tools to be a great NFL QB, he just needs to be coached up because his technique needs some work. I think if he was surrounded by better talent, he would be pretty successful.Scouting Report:Positives- Prototypical size
- 4 year starter, very experienced
- Takes a lot of snaps from under center
- Shows the ability to read defenses pre-snap and make checks at the line
- Does a good job of going through his progressions
- Clean release
- Stands tall in the pocket under pressure
- Will take a hit to make the throw
- Does a good job of feeling pressure
- Gets rid of the ball on time
- Solid arm, can make every throw
- Flashes great accuracy but needs to be more consistent
- Throws well on the run
- Was not surrounded by a lot of talent at IdahoNegatives- Footwork needs work in the pocketSkills:
- Gets happy feet when no one is open
- Drop back isn’t smooth and needs refinement
- Throws off balance too much and it hinders his accuracy
- Struggles with ball placement at times
- Tries to thread the needle too much
- Floats the deep ball a lot
- Not the best athlete
- Won’t be a threat to pick up yards with his legs

I like Enderle as a pocket passer in round 5, that junior season is enticing. Stanzi is going to be such a cool pick for some team that doesnt throw him to the lions. in like 2 or 3 years i think well see him on the field somewhere. that whole inconsistancy thing though, it screams henne ya know?
He's no longer inconsistent.
Neither of these guys are going to be starting caliber quarterbacks at the next level.
Mayock said he still doesn't trust him in the 4th quarter ala chad henne.. this was during the deep ball drills at the combine
also thats a paradox if the one thing he was consistantly was inconsistant and now he's no longer inconsistant that would make him inconsistant no?
