Instantly the fb out there now and can carry the rock a little. 29 years old.

I will never want a player like him on the team. I will never forget when he was playing for Ravens he spit in Channing Crowder face.

He doesn't seem like the poster boy we are looking for.

Maybe if it was 2008

His stats from 2008 have consistently gone in the wrong direction

2008...902 yards rushing
2009...180
2010...85
2011...51
2012...42
2013...32..............seeing a trend here?

2008 tds...10
2009........2
2010........0
2011........1
2012........0
2013........0...............same downward trend
1 touchdown in the last 63 games

His reception total has also declined to 2 receptions last year

He has seen his best year/years a long time ago

Get one in the 6th or 7th round (if there's one Miami likes a lot), or in FA after the draft (If there isn't a FB Miami considers special for what they hope for the FB position).

Fullbacks only have a shelf life of a couple years
Sign a rookie

Yeah because Channing always showed perfect sportsmanship. Crowder is a POS all the same.

Considering we had little interest in Vonta Leach last season, I doubt it.

FB is a dead or dying position, and most teams consider them expendable

Agreed on both counts. I'd prefer drafting Prosch from Auburn or Hewitt from Stanford.

The FB/TE depth becomes interesting. The aforementioned, like Clay, could be lined up all over.

Of course, it all depends on if Egnew & Sims step up.

Even more interesting is signing Gerhardt & using him as a FB or in 1 back set once in a while.
