As a backup reciever for a cheap price who has potential to make plays when healthy? Id say why not? I mean, Kelley Washington and Donte Stallworth are better, and we should do what we can to get them. But why not bring in a guy like Stokely as insurance?

Wasn't Stokely a great #3 with the Colts before he tore his ACL? If we bring him in, I don't see why can't do the same for us when he recovers.

Stokley could be an interesting prospect but I would wait to see if he is available near the start of the season and only sign him if he passes the physical. No point wasting a roster spot for an IR player.

Well there's a reason we let Wes Welker go, we don't want someone just like him in here. Besides, it's quite possible that Stokley's big year was a result of Peyton Manning. The Dolphins won't give him a look.
