Brandt: Dolphins Hit A Home Run With The Bases Loaded

NFL.com senior analyst Gil Brandt recently joined The Finsiders to give an assessment of the rookie quarterback through the early part of the season and project his impact going forward.

After seeing plenty of positives early on, Brandt is sold on the rookie quarterback in Miami.
“I think that the Miami Dolphins hit a home run with the bases loaded,” said Brandt, the Cowboys’ vice president of player personnel from 1960-89.


Brandt feels that, with Tannehill, the Dolphins may be on the path to consistent contention.
“This was a move that I think we’ll look back at 10 to 12 years from now and say this is the move that turned the Miami Dolphins around.”

Brandt has always been a Tannehill supporter.
 
Watching that video and it is quite obvious that Skip Bayless is living proof that evolution can indeed work in reverse.
 
Don´t really pay attention to The Finsiders. Just like Andy Cohen, they are paid by the Dolphins to say nice things about them.
Tannehill is making good progress though...

That is such a disrespectful clip. For heavens sake, Philbin is a first time NFL coach and Tannehill is a rookie QB. Sure, they'll have a learning curve to complete, everybody knows that but is there really any necessity to be so rude about people ?

I'm glad I don't have to put up with such a lack of class in British sports. Sometimes we get poor pundits who clearly have an agenda but we seldom get rude and disrespectful analysis like that.

A clip like that makes me delighted to see both Philbin and Tannehill doing well. Hopefully that continues and they can their words down their throats.

I went back and re-watched this video for a laugh, Skip is a jackass anyway lol. He is one of (at least I haven't read or watched) last people to not eat his crow.

Chow down Bayless, and no drink for you either to wash it down.
