The Broncos could be active ahead of the Oct. 31 trade deadline depending on how they fare over the next few weeks, according to league sources.

Even if Denver decided to rebuild and have a fire sale, they're not trading Surtain unless someone gave them an offer they can't refuse. Good CBs on rookie deals are not the players you dump.
