Active Roster
We were a couple games away from the playoffs last year. We have better coaching and help in areas of concern so in my mind there's no doubt we're 2 games better. Playoffs!?!?!?!?!?!
We won't. I have a feeling it'll be Buffalo. Looks like injuries are hitting them and I suspect teams will be able to plan against Taylor more this season.
• From the time he entered the NFL in 2008 through the 2010 campaign, Jones tied for ninth in the league among defensive tackles with 12.5 total sacks.
• In 2010, Jones produced one of the most impressive campaigns by a defensive tackle during the “Titans era” (1999-present). His 12 tackles for loss ranked second among the Titans in that period, trailing only Kevin Carter’s 13 in 2001. His 26 quarterback pressures ranked seventh in the same timeframe.
• As a rookie in 2008, Jones’ five sacks ranked fourth in the NFL among all defensive tackles and was the top number among rookie defensive linemen.
• In a game against Pittsburgh during his rookie season (12/21/08), Jones recorded the best single-game sack total by a Titans player since 1993. He totaled 3.5 sacks, a half-sack shy of the franchise record and the most since William Fuller’s four sacks against Pittsburgh on Nov. 28, 1993. Jones also forced two fumbles against the Steelers.
Here we go with the " 8-8 " guys . Before there has even been a preseason snap .
Ms Cleo would be proud of all your guesses guys
I'm positive that we will. The fact that Gase wants to run the same short pass based offense as Philbin/Lazor ran using mostly the same o-line that couldn't block under Philbin tells me that Miami could possibly go 0-6 or 1-5 in their Division. While Joseph is PROBABLY (possibly?) an upgrade over Coyle, any style of offense similar to what Philbin/Lazor ran will be the downfall of this team. It will be like every other year; Tannehill will get his yards by dinking-and-dunking up and down the field, but the lack of a strong running game (due to no strong o-line blocking) and poor pass protection (again) will keep them from sustaining drives in crunch time when games are on the line. The only positive I can imagine is that maybe the defense won't choke under Joseph at the end of games like under Coyle, but this positive is neutralized by the huge negative of Gase running another pathetic short pass based offense.
Ms cleo saw it all along in the last 20 years.....Ms cleo says this year is no different.
