Browns trade 2 to Eagles

And to think, the fins could have and should have gotten more from the eagles when trading with them, since it seems apparent that eagles were planning on inching up to eventually trade up higher. The ball was in fins court and they blew it. The eagles wanted to move up, more than fins needed to move than and fins could have taken advantage of it and call eagles bluff. So disappointing miami is.

Let's also not forget the domino effect of the Alonso and Maxwell acquisition. Our cap space become limited which led us to restructure Suh. This cap space situation also dictated some of our ability to maneuver during the early FA period. A FA period that saw us lose Miller and Matthews. In the same period of time we saw TB tag OV only to rescind it, again tying up precious cap space.

TBaum's miscues are piling up fast.

The simple path, completely in our power, was to:

* Not Tag OV and let him walk
* Re-sign Miller
* Re-sign Matthews
* Keep Pick #8
* Not restructure Suh
* Pursued a quality OG

At this stage, we could have acquired a starting OG, retained our RB and WR cores from last year and still be in a position to eat Suh's cap hit this year. While still being perfectly positioned in the draft @ #8 needing only 1 offensive piece (RG or LG) that could have been possibly found in some of the names we've already signed or Turner/Douglas.

We would have been primed for a complete defensive overhaul using the entire draft to restock the D in nearly 1 draft.

Instead, we performed an unnecessary restructure, dealt for an overpaid CB that we HOPE bounces back and a injury prone LB we HOPE is ready to return to form and are sitting at #13 as we watch all of the blue chip talent be drafted in front of us.

We bought ourselves a fine seat to watch the show.

The nail in the coffin will be when TB starts trading away draft picks to knee jerk and move up to grab players when he should just stand his ground and pick BPA or trade back.

This is going to be a busy draft with trades and moves, but we gave away our best card before it even gained value.

Man..now that you put it this way, TBaum really messed up by swapping picks

When it's all said and done #Eagles move to No. 2 and still have 7 picks this year and 8 in 2017. Outstanding deal.

Granted they are not saddled with Wentz, Eagles were very savvy.

Then again, they have the ability to have either QB sit and learn for a year behind Bradford which is greatly needed by all the QB's in this years class.

This might not even be a move up to grab a QB for Philly.

Dallas and Philly are right in each other's grill. Both could go QB or RB. Philly jumped in front of Dallas to be in control of their destiny. And after Philly assembled a stable of RBs a few years ago only to watch the offense flame out, I don't think they come back to draft RB. You don't give up this much to draft a RB. This is for a QB.

The trades by the Rams and Eagles have great implications on Dallas now. I'm not going to be shocked if the 'Boys trade back.
