No way Rodgers makes it to #8. Chicago needs a QB STAT.

Why does Chicago need a QB. They have Rex Grossman, whom got hurt. They need a WR more then they need a QB. Therefore it wouldn't be unrealistic for Rodgers to fall to 8.

I don't know that they're giving up on Grossman yet. I thought he was doing pretty well before the injury. I would think that if B. Edwards or Mike Williams makes it to them, Chicago would jump.

Wow! I never thought I would hear that sentence in my life. "why do the bears need a QB, they have Rex Grossman". Yet people want a rookie QB here and we have AJ who I am sure will be better than Grossman IMO

Grossmans glowing pre-injury stats. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/396159

Under your scenario, Arizona would almost certainly pick Brown with the eighth pick if he's still on the board.

You must really like Adam Terry because you have Jax at 21 and Atlanta at 27 both taking him!!

Thanks for backing me up on Grossman. If any QB in the league is a bust, it's him.

My gosh. People are so quick to give up on one player. Sometimes it surprises me how people EXPECT a QB to be able to make up for not having a Line/running game/or any receiving target to speak of. Not to mention the crappy system he was in- you know WR screen central!? I am not saying he won't be a bust, but let the guy have some targets and wr's that won't DROP everything. Then if he still sucks... he is a bust. Now Chicago does need a good backup QB. But you don't spend your first pick (number 4 overall) on a backup.

To back up the orig post... the gm of the Bears has already stated he wants a WR or RB with that pick.

heres some explanations for the people complaing how rodgers will fall...lets see chicago dont need a qb and cleveland with romeo crennel will likely take a defensive player since hes a DC...and tampa is working with simms and griese right now and oakland really looks like a team that will pounce but norv turner loved ricky williams to death...cedric benson is a ricky williams clone! [in the form of the mold] also arizona will look towards the second for a rb...as dennis green might go after a rb in free agency
