My favorite top 5 lame excuses for Sparano:

1) This team is close. (To what? An Arena League expansion team???)

2) It's somehow the fault of the fans. (Yeah, that's like blaming the McDonalds girl who hands you an Egg McMuffin for your horrific hangover)

3) Look at how much better they are than they were in 2007. (They had nowhere to go but UP!)

4) It's all Henning's fault. (Henning is horrible, but Tony could have made a change during the season, either Dorrell or Lee -- either one couldn't have been worse than Henning. But Tony didn't have the stones to.

5) The players play hard for him. (*****, please!)
