I think he would have been a better pro coach had he gone into a better situation than Cleveland. That is why Nick Saban has been choosey about his NFL opportunities. He humored his friend Jerry Angelo with the Bears job, but I don't think he ever seriously considered that job. It's tough to win in Chicago with the McCaskey's and Ted Phillips running things.
Nick isn't going to take a job where it would be difficult for him to succeed. I believe Miami is his ideal job though, because he could have this team in the playoffs next season with the defense that is already in place.
