Get a grip people. Chris Chambers doesn't bear the total responsibility for the loss yesterday. He's become our version of GWB, a whipping boy who is blamed for everything. You'd think he had coverage on Ben Watson and Tim Dwight yesterday.

He cares. He might not jump up and down like a lot of the idiot recievers in the league but its clear to anyone who doesn't hate the guy that he wants to win, impress his coach and be a great receiver.

He dropped 3 or 4 balls, not 8 like his haters want to believe and spread everyhwhere.

The final throw was VERY low and a tough catch for anyone. Gus was falling backwards and didn't make a decent throw at all. Its really easy to say he dropped a game tying TD but go back and look at the tape.

The final drive was pathetically planned and executed. That hardly falls on Chambers. Two throws into the sun, a horrible screen and a hail Mary into the endzone isn't the fault of one receiver. Linehan has to take the blame here. His playcalling makes Chris Foerster laugh.

CC had a bad game but he was mugged Belichick style all game. Wilson, Hobbs and Samuel took turns interfering with him. Same thing happened to Marvin Harrison in the past. Daniels brushes a Pat WR's hand and he gets a 50 yd INT call against him. Wilson and co were draped all over Chambers' neck, head and arms and nothing was called all game.

He's a finesse receiver and looks to be a #2 WR but I still think there's a chance he could get a lot better with a better QB. Gus had a very solid first half yesterday but still doesn't put the ball consistently where it should be.

He's in the crosshairs because of the feelings he caught over Saban calling him decent. Shut up and prove that you're elite. He isn't, plain and simple.
