he was a problem yes ..but most of his troubles were from a crazy relationship with who now is an x-girlfriend and lack of a contract.
Yeah those crazy dumb ******* just don't keep their freaking mouths shut after getting beat up by a man twice their size.
This is the most hypocritical thread I have ever seen, besides the fact that it has later been proven misinformed. Santanio Holmes is a freaking choir boy compared to Marshall. Oh great, it's been two weeks since he beat his wife up or was responsible for the death of a teammate, he must've turned his life around. Get real fellas.
Marshalls problems were because of a crazy ex-girlfriend, she's been out of the picture for almost two years now and he has stayed out of trouble. If you actually look most of the charges against Marshall were actually dropped and never made it to court. Marshall has only been suspended for 1 game. Santonio is suspended for the first 4 games and as we know Goodell will not overlook this plane altercation until he knows exactly what went down. Santonio has a domestic violence record just as Marshall but the difference here is Marshall has been clean *knock on wood* and hopefully this new contract and being married has matured him while on the other hand, Santonio is still out there causing problems. Santonio a choir boy? Neither are but that's pretty funny.
Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall was arrested here March 6 on a misdemeanor battery charge, his third arrest in 12 months and second involving a domestic dispute.
continues to be overshadowed by his off-field drama, which, court and police records in three states (Colorado, Georgia and Florida) show, includes a history of domestic disputes with his longtime girlfriend,
Watley, 24, filed an affidavit in Fulton County Magistrate Court on March 5 claiming that a day earlier Marshall hit her in the mouth and left eye, leaving her with, according to the criminal warrant, "visible marks above the eye and a laceration on her top and bottom lip."
You know the saying, where there's smoke, there's fire. Charges tend to get dismissed when you're dealing with women who get beat, especially when the guy is the hand that feeds them.Marshall was either founded not guilty or the charges were dropped, in some instances not even a day after they were filed. Now all I did was say that since he and his ex-girlfriend have separated he has practically been clean since. There was one dispute in 2009 in which the charges were dropped the day after and that was it.
I still don't see how hes "hardly" clean since then. He's gotten the contract and the trade that he wanted last season, which caused the suspension last year. Yes he's had a history of getting into legal trouble, but I don't get why nobody can see that maybe his new long awaited contract, moving back close to home, settling down in a serious relationship and getting married may just have changed this guy.
And to say my attitude leads you to believe I beat women simply because I said that since his ex-girlfriend and him have parted ways the legal troubles have basically disappeared, that's just wrong.
